Small Business Resource Center is proud to offer a live training seminar for QuickBooks Premier 2008 Contractors Edition!  Information is below regarding the details of this seminar.

DATE: Friday, July 25, 2008

TIME: 9:00 am - 1:00 pm (Registration will begin at 8:30 am)

LOCATION: The Ritz-Carlton, Lake Las Vegas

COST: $395 per attendee

The seminar will answer common questions, such as:

• How do I set up a company file?
• How do I manage my Chart of Accounts?
• How do I set up and work with Customers?  Vendors?
• How do I create Items to use on Invoices and Bills?
• How can I create Estimates and use Progress Invoicing?
• How can I track time for employees and subcontractors and assign the time to jobs?
• What kind of reports can I run to see how my business is doing?
• And MUCH MUCH MORE!

This seminar is geared toward small business owners who either are considering using QuickBooks for their business or already use QuickBooks and are looking to get the most out of the program.  It will cover all aspects of running your business, from setting up customers to tracking assets and liabilities.  The goal of the seminar will be to show and teach contractors all the things QuickBooks can do for their business.  There are many aspects of the program that often get overlooked that may help streamline many activities related to contracting businesses.  We want business owners become more comfortable using QuickBooks and more proficient in running their business!

The seminar will be presented by Debra Carroll.  Debra is a Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor.  She has been working with Small Business Resource Center as a QuickBooks Consultant for over 4 years.  Debra has worked with dozens of clients in many industries, including contractors, retailers, non-profit organizations, law firms, real estate agencies, professional services, and much more!  Her experience with many different industries and clients has given her a great understanding of QuickBooks as well as the ability to help business owners find and utilize the full potential of QuickBooks.  Debra has made QuickBooks presentations at industry conventions, including the Car Care World Expo.  We are glad to have her as part of our team of QuickBooks experts!

1. When should I sign up for the seminar?

Seating for this seminar is limited and offered on a first-come first-serve basis.  Other seminars will be scheduled later for those that cannot attend this seminar.  Reserve your seat today!

2. Can I get a refund if I decide not to attend after I have signed up and paid?

We will be offering 50% refunds up through June 30, 2008.  Any cancellations after that time will not receive a refund.  We apologize for any inconvenience.

3. Can I bring my laptop computer to the seminar?

Attendees may bring their laptops if they would like to take notes or follow along (if they happen to already have QuickBooks installed on their computers).  There will be places to plug in the power supply if needed.  It is not required to bring anything to the seminar.

4. Will I be able to ask questions during the seminar?

The main portion of the seminar will be instructor led with limited questions allowed from the attendees.  However, there will be a brief question/answer period directly following the presentation for those that would like to ask specific questions.

5. Will there be other seminars if I can't attend on this date?

We will most likely be offering more seminars on both the Contractors Edition of QuickBooks as well as other QuickBooks-related seminars.  Check back often to see our upcoming schedule!
